Having this chili seasoning on hand makes for an easy dinner that keeps everyone happy and full!
I’ll admit it, I do enjoy a good chili. Don’t shame me now, but I hate beans. I really do. I’ve tried so hard to like them, but I just don’t. I’ve always tried to hide them in my chili but there’s something about their texture that I just can’t handle. But that doesn’t stop me from making bean-less chili! I always use my slow cooker when I make chili, which makes my life so much easier. Slow cookers are a gift from heaven. I toss in whatever meat I’m feeling that day, add in my veggies, and other ingredients, and then add in this amazing chili seasoning! Instead of trying to gather all the different spices I would normally use, I’ve made a large batch that I can just scoop from. Less time, less mess, more happy.
As with the other seasoning recipes that feature white pepper, you don’t have to use it. You can always use good ol’ black pepper. Nothing wrong with either, it’s just what you prefer. And if you want to spice things up a bit, add in some cayenne pepper. Obviously this chili seasoning isn’t suitable for white chili, as the chili powder and paprika would change the color, but it’s perfectly suitable for a tomato based chili, my favorite kind of chili. You could even use this seasoning to make chili flavored fries or chili burgers! The possibilities are endless!
