Keep this ranch seasoning on hand to make your own dressing or jazz up any meal!
I’m so in love with this ranch seasoning! First of all, I’m incredibly picky when it comes to ranch dressing. I have a very specific requirement for how it should taste. I have to be honest here, I despise almost all of the ranch dressing that are in the condiment aisle of the grocery store. They’re way too thick and have a weird taste to me. I prefer the ones that are in the produce section. But, I love my homemade dressing the best. I’ll share that with you one day, but for now I’m sharing my basic ranch seasoning recipe.
I love this seasoning because I can literally put it on anything and instantly take my meal up a level. My personal favorite is ranch turkey burgers with baked sweet potato fries. You can put it on chicken, pork, broccoli even! Sprinkle over your baked potato for a fun flavor. Use it when you make zucchini or kale chips! You don’t have to add the buttermilk powder if 1) you can’t find it in your local grocery store (check the baking aisle!) or 2) you want this to be vegan friendly or 3) someone in your family has a diary allergy or doesn’t eat dairy. In my honest opinion, it still tastes great without it, so no worries there! You can also use black pepper instead of white pepper. I personally like the extra bite that white pepper has, but black pepper will do just fine.
- 1/4 C Parsley
- 3 TBSP Onion Powder
- 3 TBSP Garlic Powder
- 3 TBSP Dried Minced Onions
- 2 TBSP Buttermilk Powder (Optional)
- 1 TBSP Dill
- 2 tsp Chives
- 2 tsp White Pepper
- 2 tsp Salt
- As with other seasonings, put everything in a storage container and shake, shake, shake!
